Today’s Cup of Tea: Organic Jasmine Green by Allegro Tea. People tend to either love green tea or hate it. And to the haters, I always first check if they are brewing it properly and then second, I always recommend a Jasmine green. All green tea must be brewed at 170 degrees—otherwise it burns, and turns bitter. You shouldn’t need sugar with a good cup of green tea!

I love the taste of coffee, which is one reason I tend to shy away from super sweet syrups that mask the actual flavor. During my stint as a Starbucks barista, I developed a deep-seeded disgust for the sauces they use in quite a few of their most popular drinks—specifically white chocolate, and yes, the pumpkin sauce for the infamous PSL.
